Brand Review: Boo Boo Ropa (for Adults & Kids)

Boo Boo Ropa Brand Review
Sweatshirt: c/o Boo Boo Ropa // Turtle Neck: Target // Jacket: Bar III // Hat: Jack & Lucy c/o POPSUGAR Must Have // Jeans: Old Navy // Boots: Seychelles // Earrings: Kendra Scott // Ring: Jahel Velez

The owner of Boo Boo Ropa reached out to me because she wanted to see if I was interested in trying out a few pieces from her clothing company. Camaille is a mom of 4 and she created this playful brand out of her love for story-telling and her Latina roots.

Each piece in her kids, youth and adult collections feature a word or phrase that Latinos / Hispanics are all too familiar with. Some even carry a culturally relevant image along with the text. They’re all fun and comfortable, and you’ll be sure to fall in love with this small company as much as we have.

This super cozy Boo Boo Ropa sweatshirt has become a staple in my winter wardrobe. I wear out and about casually and chicly styled. I snuggle in it at home. I just can’t take it off!

It says “Mas Amor For Favor,” which means “More Love Please” in Spanish. What a wonderful message to start the new year.

Catalina is wearing the white Boo Boo Ropa Baile t-shirt, which means Dance in Spanish. Our love of music and dance is work renowned as Latin America is the home of of many musical genres.

The top also features an adorable illustration of a Boom Box. Yet another cultural reference to something all Latinos know and love. Especially if you grew up in New York City (and other urban cities) in the 80s and 90s.

Catalina often wears this look to her weekly hiphop dance classes. Isn’t it a perfect kids fashion look for that?

Here Catalina is wearing the gray Boo Boo Ropa Bicicleta t-shirt.

Bicicleta means Bicycle in Spanish. Like the last top, it features a lovely illustration of a bike above the word. Again, these tops are soft and super comfy so Catalina can dance, play or ride her bike very easily in them.

We absolutely love this brand and can’t wait to feature it several more times on the blog. On our wishlist is their ¡Canta! / Sing and Dulce / Candy or Sweet t-shirts for Catalina and their Vibras Mamá / Mom Bibes Muscle Tee, the Biale Tank and anything with Leyenda / Legend  on it for mama.

How do you keep your culture alive for your kids and yourself? Let me know in the comment section below!
