Back on Black With Pops of Gold

Dress: Genuine Kids for Oshkosh via Target // Jacket: Genuine Kids for Oshkosh via Target // Boots: Nordstrom // Bag: eBay // Leggings: Target // Sunglasses: Carter’s
As the New York City weather begins to warm, we’re putting away our heavy coats and opting for lighter pieces that keeps us both warm and cool in early-Spring weather. In today’s children’s fashion post, I’m sharing this black and gold kids outfit.
Catalina is wearing a textured black short sleeve dress by Genuine Kids for Oshkosh [similar]. The thick material provides extra warmth to protect from breezes and chilly afternoons. The texture gives this LBD some added detail making it a special piece. I also love the adorable bow for an added girly touch.

Catalina is wearing her faux leather jacket over the dress. It’s also by Genuine Kids for Oshkosh [similar], which I purchased from Target. It also featured some texture thanks to the quilting.

One of my favorite accessories to wear are sunglasses. Well, like mother like daughter. Catalina also has a growing collection of sunglasses. These pair of black wafers are by Carter’s [similar]. I have a pair just like them and we often wear them together for chic mommy and me outfits.

To jazz up this look, we added this sparkly gold colored pair of tights. I purchased them from Target along with several other colored tights. They add a nice pop of color to brighten up this black on black look.

I love this pair of black patent leather boots from Nordstrom. They’re fitted and feature adjustable straps around the ankles for a more comfortable fit.

The purse is probably my favorite piece in this girl’s outfit. I found it on Ebay a few months ago. It is an adorable black faux leather quilted flap bag. The flap also features a faux leather bow, which is a lovely feminine detail.

The bag also has gold-toned chain strap that can easily convert it into a long cross body strap. Catalina has the strap doubled here so it can fit her small frame over the shoulder (it’s a bit too long as a cross body at her age/height).

How are you dressing your cool girl this Spring? Let me know in the comment section below.
