NYE at The Pontchartrain

I always tell people that New Orleans is the best playground for adults. Whether you’re into music, food, history or anything in between; you can find it in New Orleans. This is why it’s so hard for many to definitively say something is their favorite when taking about NOLA. However…

The Pontchartrain Hotel may be my favorite social spot in all of New Orleans. The building is absolutely beautiful and it’s located on the iconic St. Charles Avenue in the Garden District. The interior has been renovated but still pays an homage to the ornate New Orleanian aesthetic.

The Pontchartrain Hotel is also home to Jack Rose, Bayou Bar, The Silver Whistle Café and the Hot Tin rooftop bar. I’m so glad I was able to spend some of my New Year’s Eve at The Pontchartrain. The Hot Tin has one of the best views of the city so it was the perfect place to reflect on the previous year and look to the future of what the next decade may bring.
