I was fortunate enough to attend Cosmo for Latina Magazine’s Fun, Fearless Latina Awards last month. I had an amazing time and met some really great people (check out my pictures with Perez Hilton, Jackie Cruz and Dash Polanco from Orange Is the New Black on my Instagram Page) in addition to seeing some of my favorite blogger ladies.
And today, I’m sharing what I wore to the big event.
This navy eShakti outfit has quickly become one of my favorite looks in my closet. It’s my firm belief that the best way to wear a crop top is to pair it with a high waisted bottom. This outfit of the day perfectly illustrates the look so many stylists and fashion critics love. The fact that it has a bit of a pinup/nautical feel to it is just sugar on top!
Skirts that start at the natural waist and flare out are incredibly figure flattering. This one is no exception thanks to its flare and pleats.
To finish this outfit of the night, I added some eye-catching jewelry from Prima Donna. I just love their pieces and you cannot find better prices anywhere else. The best part is that all of their products are of great quality and will be sure to last for years. To continue the nautical theme, I purchased their chunky Alta Moda Toggle Bracelet in gold. I also bought this necklace and earring set that features gorgeous blue “stones” with gold colored metal.
For those of you who keep inquiring about my lipstick, I’m wearing Sephora’s Always Red lip stain. This is my go-to lip product for special/evening events. The color is exquisite and it truly lasts through the night.
