Baby Chic: Polka Dots and Pearls Holiday Look

Top: Babies ‘R’ Us // Skirt: Disney // Shoes: Prima Donna // Leggings: Children’s Place // Pearl Set: Sterling and Pearls
Did you think I would share my favorite holiday looks and not include my daughter in all the fun? No way! For this children’s fashion post, Catalina is wearing two of my favorite things in the whole world: Polka dots and Pearls.
As I mentioned in my previous toddler fashion post, I love turtle necks. They’re great for warmth and perfect on their own or under your child’s favorite dresses and tops. Since red is probably the quintessential color of the holidays, Catalina is wearing a solid red turtle neck top from Babies ‘R’ Us

I’ve paired her top with an adorable black skirt with white polka dots and red hem. It also features a cute red bow on the waistband. The skirt is by Disney and came with a Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse top. I decided to swap that top for this turtle neck for a more sophisticated look. Catalina is also wearing her latest pair of Prima Donna Mary Jane flats. They’re white with some festive shimmer and bows at the top.

I added a chic pearl set from Sterling and Pearls. I purchased them over a year ago for Catalina to wear during our wedding and I’m so glad I did. Not only are they perfect for formal occasions but they complete any special outfit of the day perfectly. The complete set includes includes 5.5 – 6 mm AAA Pearl 14” Necklace and 6.5” Bracelet with Sterling Silver Heart Toggle Clasps. The set also includes studs with Sterling Silver Posts (not pictured).

If you’re wondering about Catalina’s hair, it’s actually quite simple. Divide your child’s hair where it naturally parts. Roll or twist the hair upwards on both sides starting from the top towards the back. Start with one side then clip in place while you roll the other side. Then tie the hair together with a hair tie. I wanted her to wear a low side ponytail for this look so I twisted accordingly. You can tie the hair at the center and/or higher in the back for an alternative look. Isn’t this a great toddler hair style?

How will you dress your little ones this holiday season?
