I’ve been asked about what I wore to LuckyFABB so I thought I’d share it here. For Day 1, I wanted to dress in a look that was totally me. My love for all things retro and vintage-inspired was clear in this outfit of the day. This helped me stand out while also displaying my personality and personal style.

I wore my Queen of Heartz high waisted jeans that I purchased at RagDoll in New Orleans. It’s super flattering and the denim is of great quality and quite durable. I expect to own these for years and years. The only down side about sitting for panel after panel of Lucky Magazine produced fashion conversations is that my jeans got a bit wrinkled. But you can take a gander at what they would normally look like below.

My top is from Original Penguin and I purchased it on Poshmark (the best consignment store app ever! Read all about it here). I love the white piping along the top. The Peter Pan collar and buttoned keyhole are super adorable.

I also wore a Chaus lambswool and angora rabbit hair cardigan with faux pearl buttons over it. It worked perfectly with my look and the material kept me super warm and cozy. This is one of my favorite sweaters in my closet.
Lastly, I wore my Clarks heels to finish my retro/vintage-inspired look. These shoes are ridiculously comfortable, which is perfect for a long day of fashion chats and networking. They’re dark brown and sort of a Mary Jane style with rushed leather that crisscrosses across the top of my feet. They also have a zipper in the back to secure the shoes.

Stay tuned for my Day 2 outfit of the day tomorrow.
