I have dealt with hormonal acne for many years. I went on Accutane to deal with my acne in high school which left me clear for many years. It wasn’t until I went on medication that altered my hormone levels that my skin reverted. I had to stop taking the medication to clear my skin. Some time after that, I became pregnant and my skin went nuts!
You’re not allowed to take absolutely any medication except for ibuprofen because it could harm the fetus. During one of my monthly facials (getting facials was all I could do), I learned about Dermalogica from my aesthetician.
