Timeless Clothes & Poshmark Party Preview

As you all know, I love retro and vintage inspired clothing. I wear it all the time for my imaginary job as a pinup mama (oh why can’t I get paid for that in real life?!). I also love authentic vintage clothes. You get such a high when you find a unique piece that fits just right at a vintage shop.

Clothes made in decades past were made to last much better than most of the ones we find today. For example, a lot of the clothes that were sold during the war were 1. handmade 2. built to last because everything was rationed. Therefore, you’d buy jut a few dresses and they would last for years and years. This is when hair styles became more elaborate (hello victory rolls!). You had to use your hair and accessories to make an outfit look different because you’d have to wear the same dresses over and over again.

Luckily, we live in a day and age with designers who recognize the beauty and function of vintage clothes. We have designers who replicate similar esthetics with modern twists. These clothes are timeless and can often work multiple occasions and times.

Below are some of my favorite vintage/vintage-inspired/timeless pieces of clothing. Enjoy!
