My mom was recently diagnosed with Stage 2 Anal Cancer. She’ll be treated with 6 weeks of radiation and chemotherapy. I’d appreciate your prayers, thoughts and/or good vibes for my family.

Thank you so very much Gloria.
Hi Jessica. I’ve followed you a while and was the winner of one of your giveaways. I am so very sorry to hear about your mom. My love and prayers are heading your way, most definitely. I myself have been touched by cancer 3 times in the last 19 years. In 1999 my then 30 year old husband was diagnosed with stage 4 non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. He was given 3 months. At that time one of the hospitals in Chicago offered what was then an experimental treatment called a stem-cell transplant. It gave him a complete remission. It was so miraculous that they wanted to use him in a medical journal. Unfortunately he passed in 2003, but it was unrelated to cancer. As of his autopsy 3.5 years later, he was still cancer free. Miracles do happen. I remarried on the rebound and one week after my daughter’s birth in May 2005 my second husband was also diagnosed with cancer, this time stage 3 melanoma. Yep, what are the odds. He was operated on and has been cancer free ever since. Then in May 2016 I lost my grandmother. My own mother had been diagnosed with terminal uterine cancer in March. She passed 13 days after my grandmother. I have seen far too much of cancer, once is too much. Know I am her to support you in any way you need. I know it might sound silly, but sometimes talking to someone who has walked it helps. If you need to vent, cry, scream, or simply need a distraction, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. Email me any time or I would be happy to accept calls as well. Simply offering to be here. Let’s support each other indeed – may the day come soon that no one hears the C world. Much love to you and your family. #cancersucks

But I am so happy to see that you remain such a beautiful supportive soul. If I ever need to talk to someone who has been through this, I will definitely reach out. Thank you again and much love to you and your family. Xoxo
