In today’s Outfit of the Day post, I’m sharing my favorite color combination – black and white. I love this classic color combo with some pops of gold. It’s an eye-catching neutral look that can be worn in every season – even the Summer!

I am obsessed with the off-the-shoulder trend and I’ve done some major spending in that department. This off-the-shoulder top is from Top Shop. I purchased several pieces there (shopping haul coming soon!) but this top is one of my favorites for warm weather.

IMG_0679This is a casual every day look or what I like to think of as a “cool mom outfit“. I wore this on a family trip the New York Hall of Science in Queens. I knew that I would be on my feet for a few hours so these Adidas Superstar sneakers were a no brainer. I love that they are black with white strips as I tend to mostly wear black sneakers. As was my favorite pair of black super skinny jeans by Old Navy.

Since my daughter is older, I can finally get away with carrying smaller handbags when we go out. Here I have my Louis Vuitton Twice cross-body bag. I purchased it preloved from fellow YouTuber Jerusha Couture. Watch my unboxing of it here! Although it may look like a small clutch style bag, it holds quite a bit and it was a perfect bag to carry on this day.

I added pops of gold to this look with my accessories. Even my sneakers have a little bit of gold! This beautiful long double strand necklace is vintage and belonged to my mother [before I claimed it for myself]. I love the way it looks over my white over-the-shoulder top.

I also added these gorgeous Kendra Scott earrings that I received [and purchased] from RocksBox. I have been wearing them nonstop since I unboxed the in June [watch it here]. Use my code – DomesticatedMeBlogXoxo – to get your first month of RocksBox for FREE!

I kept my makeup light and simple with the help of NYX‘s Beauty School Dropout Graduate and an Ombre Lip Duo. What do you think? Would you wear  black and white in the Summer?
