Dress: Cremieux (a Dillards exclusive brand) // Shoes: Burberry // Bag: Louis Vuitton // Necklaces: Sparklepop c/o POPSUGAR and RocksBox // Bracelet: Kendra Scott via RocksBox // Makeup: Urban Decay, Laura Geller and Kat Von D
August in New Orleans can be brutal. The heat. The humidity. It can all be tough. Thankfully, I managed to pull together this cool [literally] outfit of the day.

This white and blue floral dress is by Cremieux. It’s a lovely brand sold at Dillards. I love their French preppy style and own several dresses from them.

I love how this dress has gradient shades of blue in the flowers featured on this dress.

I paired it with blue patent leather sandals from Burberry. These strappy sandals are perfect for warm weather looks. The wedge adds some comfortable height for walks around the French Quarter and Faubourg St. John (where these photos were taken).

I’m carrying my most used handbag, my Louis Vuitton Neverfull Grand Bleu from the Ikat Collection. This tote is beyond versatile and the pops of blue just add a unique brightness to this limited-edition bag.

I added gold accessories to this look. The short “shine” necklace arrived as a gift in my December RocksBox. If you haven’t signed up for RocksBox, please do. You’ll get 3 curated pieces of jewelry in every box and there’s no limit to how many boxes you can get in a month. Sign up using DomesticatedMeBlogXoxo and get your first month of RocksBox for FREE!

The Sydney Necklace is by Sparklepop and came in a POPSUGAR Must Have box a few months ago. You can get a closer look at it [and the other items in the subscription box] here. This longer necklace is great for layering or very feminine and delicate on it’s own.

Because of the heat, I did not want to cake on the makeup. I used my Urban Decay Naked Smokey palette to give my eyes some definition and dabbed on a little Laura Geller Blush-N-Brighten Tropical Hues Blush on my cheeks.I topped my makeup of the day with Kat Von D‘s liquid lipstick in Outlaw.
