Pink Floral in New Orleans

Dress: Cremieux // Shoes: Seychelles // Bag: c/o Old Navy // Sunglasses : Kate Spade / Watch: Micheal Kors // Earrings: Box of Pearls // Necklace: Slate c/o RocksBox // Rings: Prima Donna

I went to New Orleans over the Memorial Day Weekend and I had a blast. I’m lucky enough to married to a wonderful man from New Orleans so I get to travel there often. In this Outfit of the Day post, I’m sharing what I wore as I walked around the French Quarter.

The weather is very warm in NOLA so light dresses are a must. This lovely white dress is by Cremieux. Cremieux is a brand that can be found at Dillard’s Department store. I shop there evey time I’m in town since there isn’t one by me in New York City.

This dress is a classic cut and can easily be worn as a day or evening dress. I love that it has an A-line skirt which makes it very comfortable and feminine.

This dress features beautiful pink and purple flowers that seem to burst outward from the waist. It’s perfect for the Spring and seamlessly fits in with the colorful buildings of the Quarters.

I wore this black faux leather crossbody bag by Old Navy. Although it looks small, it holds quite a bit in its three compartments. Since two of those compartments are zippered, it’s great to carry around in tourist areas because of the added security. Also pictured in the photo above is my gold Michael Kors chronograph watch.

These gorgeous shoes are by one of my favorite vintage-reproduction shoe companies, Seychelles. They have an array of shoe styles that go from mid-century through the 70s. I feel in love with this pair as soon as I saw them. The light pink straps against the fuchsia faux suede is stunning. They’re a perfect Spring shoe.

I love playing up dresses with accessories. Here I’m wearing one of my most worn pieces – a necklace by Slate which I received care of RocksBox. It’s such a great piece to dress up a casual outfit or for an evening look. I actually wear it to work all the time over my business attire. I’m also wearing my new Box of Pearls wired hoop earrings. I purchased them at a great boutique on Magazine St. called Lucy Rose. I’m always in search of locally designed items and that’s an amazing place to find some. To finish this look, I added one of my new favorite pairs of sunglasses by Kate Spade. These white cat eye sunglasses are perfect to top off any summer look.
