Working at City Hall requires I dress professionally from Monday to Friday (and on the occasional weekend/holiday). Blazers are a big wardrobe staple for me during the week. They’re a great way to polish a look off and, since I’m always cold, it’s also a great way to keep warm in cold offices.
This blazer is by Calvin Klein. It’s in a very dark navy color with a single button. It’s a perfect jacket for work and a great piece to dress up any casual look.
I’m carrying my extra large Jessica Simpson black bag. I’ve had this bag for years. It’s such a great large bag that can carry everything you’ll ever need when you head off to work. It’s in patent leather and features silver colored hard-ware and round studs.
I’m also wearing navy Salvatore Ferragamo sling-backs. These peep-toes are vintage and feature adorable bows. Because the heel isn’t too high, it’s perfect for the office.
To take this dress from day to night, I removed the blazer and added a few gold toned accents. Gold accessories are perfect for evening looks.
This vintage chain has chic faux pearls. It can hang quite low or you can double wrap it around your neck like I’m wearing it here. The belt has large sequin/scale-like gold plates and a gold-toned plaque buckle.
My evening pumps are by Escada. They’re pointed toe Mary Janes with a comfortable heel hight. The shoe is made with satin material for an added touch of elegance. Not to mention the beautiful black stone with white crystals button.
I kept my eye makeup pretty neutral using Urban Decay shadows. I added a little pop of gold with their Half Baked eye shadow and Sephora‘s gold glitter eyeliner. I’m also wearing Strange Love by MAC from their Rocky Horror Limited Edition collection.
