I’ve been using the Johnson’s No More Tangles product line since May and I’m never going back! (Read my first blog post about these incredible hair products for children and see my previous toddler hair tutorial here.) I especially love using these products on my daughter’s hair whenever we go to the beach. We all know how damaging a day at the beach can be for our hair. Well, the salt water is just as bad for your children’s hair. And that’s where Johnson’s No More Tangles regimen comes in!
We wash Catalina’s hair with JOHNSON’S® NO MORE TANGLES® Shampoo and Conditioner every night.
On a beach day, the first thing I do is spray some of the JOHNSON’S® NO MORE TANGLES® Detangling Spray into her hair and comb it through.
I then rub in some JOHNSON’S® NO MORE TANGLES® Leave-In Conditioner. These steps will not only ensure that her hair stays healthy but I know her hair will be tangle-free when our day at the beach is over. Something that seemed nearly impossible before.
I also like to braid my daughter’s hair whenever we indulge in a big summer activity like this. It keeps her hair out of the way and prevents tangles from forming as she plays. I hate having to put her through a crazy detangle session so that is why these products have become such a staple for us.
In this Toddler Hair Tutorial, I’ll show you an easy toddler hairstyle you can recreate at home before you head off to your next summer activity.
Simply part the front of your child’s hair into 3 sections. You’ll want to create three squares ( 1 at the top and 1 on each side). Then sector them with small ties.
Part the middle ponytail in half. You’re going to connect the left half to the ponytail on the left and the right half to the ponytail on the right. Braid the strands and then tie them together with a small hair-tie. (You can do this without braiding the hair, which can look just as nice.)
Create one large ponytail with the braids and remaining hair. Be sure to place the hair ties low if you don’t want them to show. You can also easily cover them up with a bow or two. I’m leaving mine exposed so you can see what I’m doing.
Finally, braid the large ponytail and secure with a hair tie.
Now you’re all set for your big day at the beach!
I always bring the detangling spray with me for a little extra help. You’ll be amazed at how easily your child’s hair can be combed after a long day of fun in the sun.
Another great hair day thanks to Johnson’s No More Tangles.
