The seasons they are a changin’. For New york City, this means one day it’s cool, the next day it’s freezing, then it’s warm, and then it’s chilly again. How do you deal with bipolar whether? You arm yourself with essential Fall to Winter accessories. Below are some of my favorite fall to winter must-haves:
I love hats. The felt hat I’m wearing below is perfect for transitional weather because it’s not too heavy or too light. Not to mention how absolutely adorable it is. I always get compliments whenever I wear it. It’s a bit retro but will still go well with just about everything you own. It’s black with gray piping and has a felt flower on the side.
Gloves are accessories that have become more and more vital to me as the years go by. My hands are not as smooth and soft as they used to be. My skin (especially my hands) tend to become uncomfortably dry when the temperature starts to drop. A good portion of my day is spent pushing my daughter around in her stroller, so I can’t count on being able to place my hands in my pockets anymore. That’s why I always try to carry my gloves with me. This cute pair are smart gloves that allow you to use your touch screen devices without having to remove them. They also feature buttons on the bottom, giving them an elegant vintage feel.
An Infinity scarf has become a real staple in many people’s closets. And it’s no surprise. They are trendy, stylish, warm and feel so good wrapped around your neck. I love using them as my Outfit of the Day‘s pop of color. It’s also a safe way to incorporate a fun print or pattern if you’re a bit hesitant to try them. The one I’m wearing has a graphic print (that looks like camouflage from afar) in shades of blue, gray and black.
I love the look of suede leather boots but I never buy them because I’m afraid of spending money on a good pair only to ruin them. Well, there’s no need to fear thanks to shops like Prima Donna. They offer several faux suede boots that are not only super stylish but also very affordable. The pair I’m wearing below only cost me about $35. I love the color and style of this bootie. The wood colored heel and gun metal studded straps are an added touch of chic.
