The Texas Tuxedo is a trend the return time and time again. It certainly is alive and well in this household. In this toddler Outfit of the Day, Catalina is wearing denim on denim on denim. This is an adorable and comfortable fall/back-to-school look for your child.
The denim jacket is from Children’s Place. It features silver colored buttons and a subtle animal print! Can you see it? The top is from Truly Scrumptious designed by Heidi Klum. This is a brand by the fashion icon sold exclusively at Babies “R” Us. I’ve purchased a bunch of clothes from the line because they’re just so easy for busy moms. Everything in their collection is designed so that you can easily mix and match them. Not to mention their so precious and fun. This top has multicolored horizontal strips and sequin teal and yellow flower in the center.
The jeans are from the Los Angeles brand Joe’s Jeans. They’re slim fitting and faded around the thighs down to the knees. I love that these jeans look and feel just like grown-up jeans that you and I would wear. The quality is amazing and well worth the money for your fashionable and active little ones. I know that Catalina can run around the play ground for hours in these and I don’t have to worry about the durability of the pants.
The shoes are also from Children’s Place. These flats are one of Catalina’s favorite shoes. They’re (you guessed it!) denim and feature a cute little bow at the top. They also have a stretchy strap across the top of the shoe (Mary Jane style) to ensure they stay on your little girl’s feet.
Catalina is carrying the accessory of the week – The 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target mini cross-body satchel in mustard yellow. She wears it both on the crook of her arms and holds it with her sweet little hands. It’s a perfectly sized for her toddler frame.
I’ve finished this look with a braided crisscross toddler hairstyle. It’s a little more intricate than your everyday pony tail but still quite easy to accomplish. Just check out my photo tutorial here to see how you can recreate this toddler hair look.
