Miami Swim Week may be over but I’m sharing my favorite swimsuit today today. This retro bikini (Dalia top & Jenna bottom) is by WET Swimwear and I can’t stop wearing it this summer. In fact, the photos in this post were taken at Robert Moses Beach in New York and they Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay in Maryland.
I love retro two-piece swimsuits. They’re super flattering for every shape and size. And, although they do provide more coverage than your average bikini, they can still be quite sexy. This one has great details like the ruffled trims and waist cinching belt.

I’m wearing a Miken cover-up over my swimsuit. I like having cover-ups for when I start to get chilly or just want to layer up a little. This black crochet kimono is perfect. Not to mention that it’s very affordable at just $14.99 at Macy’s. [Get it here]

I always leave my jewelry at home when I go to the beach, which can leave my beach looks a little dull. That’s why I’m obsessed with the gold/silver foil temporary tattoos trend. It’s like wearing jewelry that you never have to worry about losing!

The tattoos I’m wearing on this post are a joint product by Lionheart Prints & Kismet Cosmetics. I talked about these in my New Orleans Haul post. You can see it here.

I’m also wearing my new pair of Havaianas flip flops. This is from their special 2015 Tribal collection. They’re comfortable, high-quality and pretty darn cool.
Lastly, I kept my makeup simple and true to the retro style. I used the new Urban Decay Naked Smokey Palette, CIRCA Beauty‘s Playa Paraiso Lip & Cheek Stain.  I added a pop of red with  Kat Von D‘s Underage Red liquid lipstick and Rouge Louboutin nail polish by Christian Louboutin. Protection from the sun’s rays is very important. That’s why I always carry a pair of sunglasses, like these by Kate Spade, and my Provenve Cheetah Sun Hat by Prima Donna floppy sun hat.
What are you wearing to the beach this summer? Let me know in the comment section below.
