1. I made yummy animal sandwiches by using this CuteZCute Animal Friends Food Decor, Cutter & Stamp Kit.
Making these sandwiches is much simpler than it looks. I used the cutter to cut the shapes into whole wheat bread and the stamper to help create the faces.
I made three kinds of sandwiches – ham and provolone cheese, turkey and swiss cheese, and cheddar cheese sandwiches (for the kids who prefer to go meat-free).
I also used the cutter to cut the cheese slices for the animal sandwiches.
I really loved the way they came out…and I’m not even a child! I also coated the bread slices with thin layers of low-fat olive oil mayonnaise.
I used pink sandwich flags to label the different sandwiches. They were just as delicious as they were cute.
2. I made sweet fruit sticks using a seasonal fruit mix and barbecue skewers.
3. I did some DIY decorating to the beverages I served.
I used scalloped Avery labels to make stickers that said “Catalina’s 4th Birthday”.
I wrapped pink construction paper around organic, low-sugar juice boxes before placing the stickers on the faces of the box, I had to remove the straws to securing wrap the construction paper but simply used my small glue gun to reattach them.
I just love the way they turned out!
I even did the same to the box of paper straws!
I pasted some pink washi tape on two mason jars that I sued to hold napkins and utensils.
