Pretty in Pink in Chicago (for Breast Cancer Awareness Month)

Dress: Ragged (Colombian Brand) // Sandals: Franco Sarto // Earrings: Colombian Artisan

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The color pink is used to raise awareness. I’m joining in the fight by wearing pink in this Outfit of the Day post.

I purchased this dress in Colombia a few years ago. It’s by a Colombian brand named Ragged. I’ve kept it for all of these years because of its simple yet beautiful features.

The light chiffon fabric makes this dress extra flowy. And I absolutely love the top of the dress. It gives off a very Latina vibe to me. Bright colors and ruffles always make me think clothing from Latin America.

The way the top falls across the chest, exposing the shoulders, is playfully sensual. Much like the Latinas who wear this style.

The keep with the pink theme, I’m wearing hand-made Colombian bright pink earrings. My additional pop of pink come by way of my hot pink lip color. This is from an OCC (Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics) lip tar in the cool Nylon.
