Toddler Hair Tutorial with Johnson’s No More Tangles

I’ve been using Johnson’s No More Tangles product line for the past week and I’m so love. My daughter’s curly blonde locks can get some bad tables throughout the day (and even when she sleeps!). Having these detangling products has complete changed out nightly routine and the way I do Catalina’s hair.
It used to be a bit of a fight to comb or brush through my daughter’s hair. No matter how hard I tried to make it a pain-free process, those darn tangles made it very difficult. She’s inevitably yell out, “all finished hair” to let me know she was over it! “What are you gonna do,” I thought.
Well, thanks to Johnson’s No More Tangles three-step hair care regimen, it’s now much easier to do my daughter’s hair. It’s the same gentle, tear-free products we all know and love with extra detangling power. The steps are quite simple, too!

In this toddler girl hair tutorial, I’ll show you how to create a nautical inspired toddler hairstyle. I first spray Catalina’s hair to help with any tangles created while she was sleeping.

I start off by spraying some of the the Johnson’s No More Tangles Spray into her hair to ensure it will be a painless process. If there is an extra difficult knot in her hair, I apply some of the Johnson’s No More Tangles Leave-In Conditioner and knead it through with my fingers.

This is pretty much all you have to do to ensure you child has healthy-looking and nourished hair.

Part your daughters hair, leaving the first third of hair (closest to your child’s face) loose.

Tie the back 2/3s of your child’s hair in a ponytail.

Part the loose hair in three sections and tie with small hair ties.

Then part each ponytail into two sections and twist each of them.

Then begin to twist them together, creating a rope braid. What says nautical better than ropes, am I right?

Secure the braid by pulling it through a part of the ponytail hair tie in the back. No need to try to get it through the entire hair tie. We will secure it in the end.

Repeat on the other two side sections.

Finally, secure all three braids by tying the ponytail with another hair tie.

And here you have a pretty quick-and-easy nautical-inspired toddler hairstyle. What do you think? Will you give the hairstyle and the Johnson’s No More Tangles products a shot? They come highly recommended by this NYC Latina mom.
