White knits are the quintessential winter look for me. It’s warm and the white references the beauty of snow. In this outfit of the day post, I’ll show you how my daughter and I were white knits for a cozy holiday look
Catalina is wearing a white cable-knit dress from The Children’s Place that I purchased during Black Friday. It features metallic threading for that extra holiday sparkle that I love. These kinds of dresses will keep your little one warm and stylish during the holiday/winter season.
The bottom of the dress has an adorable mesh skirt with metallic dots throughout the fabric. A black ribbon beautifully separates the cable-knit top from the mesh skirt. It also features an adorable bow on the left hip. As I mentioned in a previous Baby Chic post, I love pairing casual and formal dresses with converse. And this outfit is no exemption.
The ultimate touch of downtown chic to this look is this faux leather jacket by OshKosh that I purchased at my local Target. How cool does Catalina look in it?

This cable-knit dress is one of my winter favorites. It’s by a Spanish brand named Stradivarius that, unfortauntely, has yet to make it’s way to the United States. I purchased this one in my most recent trip to Colombia in fall of 2010. Although this dress was purchased a few years ago, it’s a classic that will never go out of style.

This dress does a wonderful job of showing off the figure without being overly exposing. It’s fitted and falls in the mid thigh area. I always wear it with leggings or opaque tights for modesty.
The collar is embellished with beautiful woven knit patterns. The collar is just wide and deep enough to frame the collar bone.

I’ve added one of my favorite pairs of booties. They’re a black and brown Sam Edelman pair of ankle boots I purchased at Lord & Taylor. You can take a closer look at the in this post.

I kept my makeup light and simple. I’ve applied my bareMinerals foundation with a bit of a tart blush on my cheeks. I finished the look with my Mary Kay liquid liner in a demure wing shape and MAC’s Show-All lipstick.
