NOLA Shops: Lionheart Prints

One of my favorite things to do in New Orleans is to shop. I discovered Lionheart Prints last year and when I heard they were opening up a pop-up shop, I knew I had to stop by.

Liz Cooke, the creator of Lionheart Prints, organized a pop-up shop on Magazine Street along with a few other local designers. It was called 12 Days of Local.

Lionheart Prints is a graphic design studio based in the heart of New Orleans. They specialize in beautiful and fun hand-lettered prints.

At the pop-up shop, Liz had a great display of the products she offers. This included her popular Holiday cards.

I love that they’re all very original and unique. Many of them are very clever and funny.  There were a few designs that sold out by the time I stopped by.

She also had some of her prints on t-shirts and onesies in an array of colors.

One of my favorite prints featured the phrase “Yeaux Leaux”, which is a play on the famous phrase “YOLO”. If you’re unfamiliar with the phrase, it stands for You Only Live Once. Liz spells it out in the New Orleans Cajun French way.

You can find that phrase and other New Orleans/quirky inspirational phrases on their mugs, tumblers and more.

Visit Lionheart Prints on their website here and shop their products on their Etsy page here. Their shop is temporarily closed for the holidays but will be back up on January 5th.
