Living Fabulosa with P&G Orgullosa

P&G Orgullosa created a wonderful Chicas Night Out event at the Times Center here in New York City entitled Nuevas Latinas Living Fabulosa. The event featured a beauty bar, a fun cocktail hour, and an incredible panel of Latinas discussing beauty, fashion and more.

Upon entering the Times Center, attendees were greeted with glasses of champagne and a beauty bar.

Everyone there could freshen up their makeup and hair care of some of the beauty sponsors, which included CoverGirl, Olay, Pantene, Clairol and Crest.

Angie Martinez served as the main host for the night but she had several lovely Latinas join her.

Lilliana Vazquez didn’t waste any time discussing fashion. [pictured above showing off her fabulous shoes from Zara and Rachel Zoe dress she picked up from Rent the Runway.]

Nina Terrero also joined the sofa as a co-host.

The beautiful and talented Gina Rodriguez was the last co-host to join the stage.

As you may have seen from interviews and appearances, Gina is such a fun, spirited and inspirational young woman. The were many laughs as soon as she joined the other women.

The event also showcased other inspirational women like Janet Jones (founder of Vixen Workout), recording artist Raquel Sofía and the founders of My Wellness Solutions.

Janet even got the ladies to join her in a quick Vixen Workout with some of her New York crew.

This was by far the best moment of the night for me.

Gina Rodriguez was very into it.

Unfortunately, because the event started much later than expected, I had to leave before the itt was over. The ladies were later joined by Selenis Leyva and Diane Guerrero from Orange is the New Black. I did get chance to say hello to Selenis backstage since we had honored her and other OITNB cast members at the NYC Council Hispanic Heritage event (instagram pic of me and the ladies here).

If there is one thing I learned at this event it’s that everyone should want to be Gina Rodriguez’s BBF. The other thing would be that Latinas are pretty darn inspirational and…fabulosas!
