Fit Friday: Baked Cheesy Zucchini Sticks

I love finding creative ways to eat vegetables. This is a simple yet delicious recipe you should try at home. It makes for a perfect, healthy side dish for your meals. 
Zucchini (each makes 4 sticks)
Grated Parmesan cheese (or low-fat cheese of your choice)
Garlic Powder or Garlic Salt
Salt & Peppers to Taste
Olive Oil
1. Cut each zucchini in half lengthwise. 

2. Cut each half in half lengthwise as well. You’ll end up with 4 quarters lengthwise.

3. Place them on a cooking sheet and drizzle them with olive oil. Salt, pepper and add garlic powder or garlic salt to taste.

4. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese or another low-fat cheese of your choice on the Zucchini sticks.

5. Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Place them under the broiler for another 2 to 3 minutes to brown the cheese and create a crispy crust.

6. Serve and enjoy!
