Labor Day Outfit of the Day

Jeans: c/o Jordache // Tank: Mossimo via Target // Shirt: J Crew c/o my hubby //Shoes: Dolce & Gabbana // Scarf: c/o Old Navy

It’s Labor Day! This holiday is very important to me and my family for many reasons. On this day, we remember all of the sacrifices and work it took to create fair and humane work environments for all Americans.

I’m celebrating this special day with this fashion homage to Labor Day. I’m channeling Rosie the Riveter (yes, again!) plus some classic housewife looks in this Outfit of the Day.

I’m wearing a classic blue gingham button down shirt by J Crew. It actually belongs to my husband. I simply rolled up the shirt from the bottom and tied it just under by bust for a fitted look.

I also rolled up the sleeves so they’re out of my way for the work ahead. I’m also wearing a simple white tank by Mossimo from Target.

These amazing jeans are by Jordache. They’re a skinny cropped cut which are perfect for both modern and retro looks.

This jeans have a lot of stretch, which makes them perfect for ladies on the curvier end of the spectrum. They’re super comfortable and easy to move around in.

You’ve seen these wedges before on my blog (here) but I can’t help but feature them again. These blue gingham wedges are by Dolce & Gabbana and are embellished with adorable white bows with gold hardware tips. Although I own more shoes than I can remember (I seriously forget about some of the shoes in my collection), my husband thinks these are my sexiest.

This makeup application is my go-to look at the moment. The shades are neutral with a pop of red on the lips and my signature winged liner. I created this look using Make Up For Ever Duo Mat,
Urban Decay‘s Flushed Blush Palette in Streak and Dolce & Gabbana‘s Italian Monica.

I also have my hair in pin curls secured with bobby pins and my bandana by Old Navy. It’s the white and blue scarf created by artist Curtis Kulig (of the “Love Me” campaign) exclusively for Old Navy influencers.

How did you spend this three-day weekend? Let me know in the comment section below.
