Crisscrossed Toddler Hair Tutorial // Tutorial de Pelo Entrecruzado Para Niñas

As i mentioned in Catalina’s debut post, I really started getting into doing my daughter’s hair. Not that I’ve allowed her to run around with disheveled, unkept hair before. Catalina has beautiful blond curls so I like to keep her hair down. I would occasionally put her hair in a high half pony tail just to keep her hair out of her face and that’s it. Not anymore.
I loved the side knot pony tails I created in this toddler look of the day. It keeps her hair out of her face in a stylish way while also showing off those curls I adore so much.
Below is my photo tutorial of another hairstyle I do on Catalina. The best part is that it’s actually quite simple to make.
1. Use a comb to divide the hair in half from the forehead to the back of the neck.
2. Use your comb to separate the top portion of one side. Use the ear as a guide to create straight, symmetrical sections.
3. Use a hair tie to tie that section off. You’ll want to tie the section of hair towards the back.
4. Repeat on the other side.
4. Section the middle section of each side and tie them with hair ties.
3. Cris-cross the front section with the middle section of the other side. You can braid, twist or simply pull the section before tying them together. NOTE: If your toddler’s hair isn’t long enough, not to worry! Simply clip the hair down as I did with Catalina.
4. Take both middle sections and tie them together to create a single pony tail.

That’s it! Simple enough, right?
Here is an alternative version I made by twisting the pony tails:

Bastante simple, ¿no?
